INEOS has completed the acquisition of its Bayport Underwood plant in LyondellBasel, USA. According to earlier reports, through the acquisition, INEOS acquired a 420,000-tonne ethylene oxide plant, a 375,000-tonne ethylene glycol unit and a 165,000-tonne ethylene glycol ether unit, as well as all related third-party businesses at the site. The purchase is valued at approximately $700 million.
